The clean lines of the female figure are great, particularly around the shoulders/torso area. I think if the hair and face of the guy were simplified a bit (more like the female) to use line more economically the image as a whole would read faster, though. Additionally, flat localised colour works really well as a style but sometimes one colour that doesn't quite fit in with the rest can throw it off a little. For example my eye keeps getting drawn back to the flaming torch and distracted by the primary red and yellow. Perhaps if these colours were toned down to be slightly muted similarly to the clothing and skin of the characters it wouldn't stick out so much.
